Hi Tom, Martie and TJ. You have been on my mind and in my heart since I recently heard about Tom's health issues. I am quite out of the loop since I retired so have not had the full report until I got onto your website today. I can tell that you all are
incredibly positive and doing everything that it takes to do this journey together. Martie, I can't help thinking about the time Sandra and I saw you at Macy's trying on dresses for a formal evening and we encouraged you to get a very pretty outfit for the
evening. Hope that evening was fun!! I would like to help in some way but the "gofundme" doesn't seem to be working today. I will try to find a phone number to call direct and speak to you about what you could use to help you with the daily challenges. Sending
my best to all of you!!

The numbers are fantastic. Keep on the program. It's working! I am thrilled that you have allowed me to coach. The road ahead is still rough, but is getting smoother.

We are just so, so happy to hear this news! Praise God!! My heart is so full of joy for your family...for each one of you! We both love each one of you so! :)

Tom, your strength amazes me day by day! The only one exhibiting even more fortitude is Martie. My admiration abounds. It draws me to you, just to be there as a sounding board or a hug as needed. Or to share a good belly laugh. It's all there. One-on-one
time with Teej is helping us connect. He may feel lost right now, but this is someone who will know his way in the world as a man. It will be awesome to see what he does with his life. It is heartwarming, truly, to see the steady stream of friends who come
and spend real time with Tom, Martie and Teej. And their pastor, who is generous with wisdom to help you, and U.S., cope with Tom's roller-coasting condition. It comforts ME to see this steady stream of love for your family, and it is a source of strength
that cannot be denied. Add my love to the rest.

Just checking to see how Tom is doing. He need to back off on the pain meds as this is the root of his main problem. Get the cleanse going to restart the colon. Use the LunaRich in water (open the capsules) with 4 in about 4 oz of water. 3 time a day no matter
what!!!

I am embarrassed to say that I only learned of Tom's battle with cancer this evening. It is amazing how time passes by and then all of a sudden it's been months to a year from the last time you get a moment to catch up with a neighbor...your next door neighbor!
I truly regret this. I see TJ now and then and am amazed at how tall he has grown... I remember him popping by for help with his tie when he was 5/6 yrs old?..

I just wanted you to know that if you need anything that Ed, Sophia and I are here for you all. Please don't hesistate to ask. With Love & Hope, you next door neighbors

Hi Marty. My name is Renee and I used to sub for you at Eldridge. I have fond memories of your feisty and passionate personality! I also remember pictures of your husband and son being in your classroom so I recognized them immediately. I was led to this
page from Marla's facebook, I hope you don't mind. I just wanted you to know that I am sending all the positive energy I can your way. I think of you often and my heart breaks for you, your son, and your husband. Your story's not over and I'm grateful to you
for sharing such intimate details. Hearing a story like yours changes the way one looks at life, how could it not? I wish that i could offer advice or words of encouragement, but I'm at a loss. I hope for all the best for you and your family. I sincerely mean

Just got off the phone with you,Tom, and it was good sharing a good laugh with you because I know how rough it's been getting. Just hang in there...and turn up the music!

Yeah - so delighted the THC is working. I speak from personal experience that it has a beneficial effect. My husband too lost 30+ pounds...So hang in there!

Wonderful news on the food intake!!!

Hospital bed....it make a great difference for the comfort level. Just experencing the same challenge with my Vernie. Do make sure you get the length extension and the curulation air mattress. Kaiser provided all of those item and comfort is # 1. Keep strong

I commend you on your choice to refuse the chemotherapy.Your positive attitude will get you through these difficult times. Its funny where the strength comes form but it does. I'm going to look into you natural approach to fighting those bad cancer cells.

I am so glad that you created this blog. These are tough times that you are going through. It is very hard repeating the story over and over. Thank you for taking the time to keep us posted.


Your body is an amazing thing. I can hear the commitment in your words and I know that you are all fighting this together. We are praying and fighting for you also her in Colorado. I run the Relay for Life each year, so I basically have a bunch of people praying
for you also.

Keep your spirits up. Get outside if you can and go for a little walk.
